ERP Application Analyst

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with some relevant systems, application or ERP experience who wants to develop further within Oracle.

• You should be comfortable with managing defined tasks and priorities.
• Useful, but not essential: exposure to Oracle applications.
• Useful, but not essential: exposure to ERP systems.
• Useful, but not essential: exposure to Finance processes.
• Useful, but not essential: exposure to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Fixed Assets.
• Useful, but not essential: exposure to application support.

• Useful, but not essential: exposure to Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Support and configure Oracle ERP applications.
• Help investigate and resolve application issues.
• Gather and document business requirements.
• Contribute to basic functional solution design.
• Create test plans, test cases and document results.
• Test system changes, customisations and developments.
• Support escalated ERP issues from the helpdesk.
• Work with Finance and other business teams across EMEA.
• Contribute to ERP projects and process improvements.
• Gain exposure to the migration of existing sites onto Oracle.
• Work with other business applications over time as experience develops.

We are an established Oracle applications team supporting sites across EMEA. This office-based permanent role is based in Southampton and focuses primarily on Oracle Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets. We are also supporting the longer-term transition of existing Navision sites onto Oracle. This is a Level 1 role, so you do not need to arrive as an Oracle expert; you will work alongside more experienced colleagues and build your functional ERP knowledge.
