Enterprise Data Architect

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a Data Architect in Financial Services, Investment Banking, or Trading platforms.
• Deep technical expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and YugabyteDB.
• Hands-on experience with modeling tools like ERStudio and Hackolade.
• Strong knowledge of GCP Data Architecture, distributed data design, partitioning, and high-availability patterns.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and document enterprise data structures across Domain, Conceptual, Logical, and Physical models.
• Build scalable, high-performance database solutions across both RDBMS and NoSQL platforms.
• Define data standards, integration patterns, and governance principles for complex financial systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering leads, and cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business goals.
• Drive modernization efforts using on-prem, cloud, and hybrid data architectures.
