Cyber Security Analyst

Salary: £25,000 - 28,867 per year

Requirements:

• Interest in cyber security and technology.
• Experience in IT support, service delivery or a cyber-related role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and security principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, develop and work as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to security alerts through the CSOC.
• Support cyber incident investigation and resolution.
• Assist with Cyber Essentials Plus and security compliance activities.
• Support phishing simulations and penetration testing.
• Work with Microsoft security technologies, including Defender and Intune.
• Provide support across cyber operations and wider IT service delivery.

We are hiring a Cyber Security Analyst for a fixed-term contract until 30 April 2027, based in Liverpool with hybrid working and 2 days per week in the office. You will join a growing cyber team within a mature security operations environment. This role is suited to someone with IT support, service desk, infrastructure or junior cyber experience who wants to build a career in cyber security.
