SC Cleared Tester (Performance)

Requirements:

• Ability to design, execute, and analyse performance, load, stress, and volume tests.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Splunk, and diagnostics platforms such as New Relic and Dynatrace.
• Understanding of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and big data platforms such as Databricks.
• Ability to analyse complex performance issues and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong scripting skills such as Python and JavaScript for test automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of Performance Test Strategy and defining Non-Functional Requirements.
• Proven experience in performance testing of cloud-based architectures such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Eggplant Performance, and Gatling.
• Knowledge of middleware systems such as Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Experience with the ELK stack and reporting tools such as Tableau.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with security and compliance considerations in performance testing.
• Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues.

• Drive improvements to ensure robust, scalable systems across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Enhance and shape scalability and reliability in cloud and container-based environments.
• Leverage observability tools and diagnostics to optimise application performance.

This role focuses on creating strategies and solutions in cloud and container-based environments, using observability and diagnostics tools to optimise application performance.
