Requirements:

• Agile experience is desirable, with an interest in championing Agile across the business.
• Ability to support the Product Owner and delivery teams in clarifying requirements and planning implementation.
• Experience translating customer needs into high-level technical specifications.
• Ability to design and develop recommended systems in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels of the organisation.
• Ability to present complex business and technical concepts clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Experience identifying, assessing and evaluating business and IT risk.
• Ability to prepare succinct reports and communications tailored to different audiences.
• Ability to undertake in-depth scoping exercises for work packages.
• Personal responsibility for IT data security, including following rules and practices.
• Ability to help develop Product Analyst capabilities in line with a career framework.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Product Owner to clarify requirements, plan implementation and answer queries through the development process.
• Oversee delivery of product analysis backlog items across the end-to-end product in an agile environment.
• Represent and model data and information, develop training materials, and drive the definition of lean business cases.
• Collaborate with business users at different levels of the organisation to document requirements and solution specifications.
• Plan, prioritise, manage, execute and evaluate analysis work across the product lifecycle.
• Work with the Product Owner and the business to understand and prioritise conflicting needs.
• Assess impacts and lead design activities for business processes to accommodate the solution.
• Present complex business and technical concepts to customers at all levels of the organisation.
• Identify, assess and evaluate business and IT risk.
• Prepare reports and communications on complex business processes and progress for different audiences.
• Oversee in-depth scoping exercises during the early stages of work packages and support junior analysts.
• Support Product Analyst capability development in line with the career framework.
• Help protect the organisation from cyberattack and data loss by following standards and reporting risks and incidents.

Our client is a multinational energy company building Agile capability as part of its digital transformation. The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Reading, Berkshire. We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to support Product Owner and delivery teams, translate customer needs into technical specifications, and help design, develop and support new technologies and products that deliver business outcomes in an agile environment.
