Senior Analyst - Outpatient (Community)

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• We require a post-qualification masters degree, or significant healthcare experience equivalent to masters level.
• We require evidence of further clinical training in a specific clinical field.
• We require accreditation in at least one Epic module.
• We require evidence of configuration expertise used in an enterprise solution.
• We require proven experience in a clinical environment and delivery of clinical care, or significant experience in a clinical analyst role within a systems development environment, preferably in the NHS or a healthcare-related field.
• We require healthcare system design and configuration experience.
• We require significant experience interpreting business and clinical requirements and considering the impact on IT services.
• We require demonstrable experience documenting and mapping workflows, as well as the results of clinical analysis.
• We require demonstrable experience producing high-quality work to very aggressive timescales.
• We require experience in the analysis and design of clinical solutions to meet clinicians and business requirements.
• We require the ability to plan ahead, prioritise, and manage change in a formally controlled yet pragmatic way.
• We require the ability to plan ahead, prioritise workloads, and resource them in response to changing demands and requirements.
• We require the ability to present highly technical and complex information clearly and concisely in potentially contentious situations.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you deliver and develop a share of Epic and other software systems configuration build, while overseeing the work of the Band 6 Analyst.
• We will have you act as a link between the ITCS team, system users, and other stakeholders, helping to manage and prioritise calls and requests.
• We will have you help plan systems implementation and the roll-out process, liaising with affected teams, staff, and departments.
• We will have you work as part of the multi-disciplinary configuration team, ensuring a consistent approach to configuration and integration between Epic modules and across the wider team.
• We will have you manage, coordinate, and lead configuration requirements to ensure the build is delivered in a timely way.
• We will have you analyse current workflows and working practices and suggest improvements.
• We will have you work with stakeholders to analyse, negotiate, and facilitate agreement for changes to high-impact or critical workflows and working practices.
• We will have you assist with preparation for testing and upgrading the system to ensure it is safe, usable, secure, and robust.
• We will have you support complex Epic and other software demonstrations and present updates on the teams progress to the appropriate forums.
• We will have you record and respond to comments and complaints on the proposed system, resolving complex problems and dealing with unanticipated issues where needed.
• We will have you actively monitor systems for user or system errors or problems, working with the Band 6 Support Analyst.
• We will have you participate in regular process review, feedback, and system development meetings within the ITCS team and with external stakeholders.
• We will have you assist in the optimisation of our EHR system.
• We will have you support end users with issues and problems, resolving support tickets in a professional and timely manner.
• We will have you work on optimisation projects, software upgrades, and other expansion of the portfolio and platform.
