ERP System Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year
Requirements:- Bachelors degree in information systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
- 3–5+ years of ERP support, administration, or business systems analysis experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing ERP systems
- EMAX ERP experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and SQL is preferred
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, inventory management, purchasing, production planning, and finance/costing principles
- Report writing and data analysis capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications
- Administer, support, optimize, and continuously improve the EMAX ERP system across business functions
- Configure ERP modules to meet business requirements
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Manage user access, security roles, and permissions
- Coordinate ERP upgrades, patches, and testing activities with the system provider
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, finance, sales, and customer service teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Recommend and implement ERP system enhancements
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to ERP processes
- Provide daily support to ERP users and resolve system-related issues
- Investigate root causes of data and transaction errors
- Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions
- Attend team meetings and provide updates to management and colleagues
- Serve as the first point of contact for ERP questions and support requests
- Review and ensure data integrity across ERP master data, including item masters, bills of material (BOMs), routings, suppliers, customers, and inventory records
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs
- Support data imports, exports, validation, and cleansing activities
- Participate in ERP implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects
- Gather and document business requirements, including alignment with TE policies
- Coordinate testing activities and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Work with software vendors and consultants to implement solutions
- Support integration projects with other business systems
- Support forecasting, production planning, scheduling, inventory control, purchasing, and shop floor data capture within EMAX
- Analyze ERP transaction flows impacting production efficiency and inventory accuracy
