Engineer I, People Technology, HCM

Salary: £45,000 - 83,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 1 years experience or similar administering modules, configuring business processes, security roles, and workflows.
• A passion for optimising HR workflows within Workday.
• Experience managing system testing, feature deployments, platform upgrades, and creating clear technical documentation.
• Strong desire to deepen technical knowledge in Workday across all modules.
• Creative problem-solving skills with a strong customer service mindset, a positive can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to research independently to find solutions to various issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to coordinate seamlessly with People and global technology teams.

Responsibilities:

• Be the first line for queries coming into our team and have the first opportunity to resolve them.
• Maintain the core Workday HCM platform proactively to reduce system downtime and data errors.
• Solve deep day-to-day functional system queries independently.
• Partner with Corporate Technology teams to ensure flawless data integration between Workday and downstream platforms.
• Streamline HR workflows and reporting to improve the daily operations of global stakeholders.
• Support upcoming feature deployments and system upgrades to match our rapid organizational growth.
• Create clear internal documentation and runbooks to speed up future system troubleshooting.
