Data Engineer

Salary: £56,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Data Engineering experience.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of data modelling, transformation and data quality principles.
• Ability to work effectively within Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Active SC Clearance required.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop data integration solutions using Python and SQL.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and reliability across platforms.
• Support data modelling and transformation activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts and stakeholders to deliver client outcomes.
• Take ownership of defined work packages and deliver them independently.

We are AgileSource and we are seeking experienced Data Engineers to join our growing delivery team supporting high-profile client engagements. This is a permanent or contract opportunity based in the UK, with hybrid or remote working depending on project requirements. The salary is £45,000 - £65,000, or a day rate of £350 inside IR35 depending on experience. This role is suited to hands-on engineers who enjoy solving complex data challenges and delivering high-quality solutions in fast-paced environments.
