Requirements:

• We need someone who is eligible to obtain SC Clearance.
• We need experience managing SNOW Software Asset Management / Software Licence Management tools.
• We need knowledge and understanding of software licensing rules, licensing implications, software metering, and methods to optimise licence utilisation.
• We need proven experience managing end-to-end software licence compliance across an IT estate.
• We need experience in software lifecycle management.
• We need experience conducting software licence audits, including analysing software deployments against licence entitlements and identifying compliance risks.

Responsibilities:

• We are responsible for managing end-to-end software licence compliance for software on the estate.
• We manage the SNOW Software License Management tool.
• We use our knowledge of software licensing rules, licensing implications, software metering, and optimisation methods to improve licence utilisation.
• We advise on, design, implement, and manage best practices and internal processes for licensing methodology to optimise costs.
• We provide assistance and guidance to the user base on software licence procurement and utilisation.
• We manage software lifecycle management.
• We conduct regular and consistent audits across the estate, measuring deployment versus entitlement and analysing contractual and financial status to report on the effective licence position.
• We report and verify all software, versions, and volumes installed on the estate.
• We maintain the record of Proof of Licences.
• We maintain process and procedural documentation.

We are hiring on behalf of our client for an IT Software Asset Manager to join the Digital Excellence function, providing IT services to the business on an initial 12-month basis. The role is a 37-hour-per-week contract, based in Stevenage with a hybrid working arrangement, and is inside IR35. SC clearance is required to start, and the role is UK Eyes Only due to the project.
