Global Lead Information Management
Job Description
Salary: £37,000 - 77,000 per year
Requirements:- Recognised authority in Information Management, Digital Delivery and Information Governance.
- Extensive experience leading Information Management functions across major programmes and projects.
- Deep understanding of ISO 19650, UK BIM Framework, Common Data Environments and information governance practices.
- Strong knowledge of Information Architecture, metadata, naming conventions, document control and digital delivery processes.
- Experience implementing enterprise Information Management strategies across multiple geographies and sectors.
- Strong understanding of project controls, programme management and project delivery environments.
- Up-to-date knowledge of market-leading Information Management and Digital Delivery platforms.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business operations.
- Professional qualifications and/or membership of relevant industry institutions.
- Inspirational and inclusive leader who motivates and develops high-performing teams.
- Able to influence and persuade at executive, board and client leadership levels.

- Define and deliver our global Information Management strategy and roadmap, aligned with the Project Controls Centre of Excellence framework and broader Consult business objectives.
- Establish, maintain and continuously improve our global Information Management standards, processes, governance arrangements and assurance frameworks.
- Manage the deployment and adoption of Information Management best practice across all global regions and markets.
- Act as the global owner of Information Management within the Mace way and associated delivery frameworks.
- Establish performance measures and assurance mechanisms to drive continual improvement of Information Management delivery across our business.
- Maintain ownership of the Information Management body of knowledge, methodologies, templates, guidance and standards.
- Partner closely with Global Project Controls CoE Leads and Global Business Unit CoE Leads to ensure Information Management strategy, standards and best practices are deployed and embedded across all markets and sectors.
- Establish strong governance and communication channels between the global Information Management function, regional hubs and Business Unit CoEs.
- Collaborate with Global Unit CoEs to identify capability gaps, emerging client requirements, delivery challenges and opportunities for service enhancement.
- Promote knowledge sharing, innovation and cross-regional collaboration to accelerate the adoption of leading Information Management practices and lessons learned.
- Act as the voice of Information Management within the wider CoE network and support alignment between Information Management, Project Controls, PMO, Digital Delivery and Project Management communities.
- Support Global and Business Unit CoEs in implementing strategic initiatives, driving service excellence and improving project outcomes through effective Information Management.
- Build and lead a global Information Management community of practice.
- Develop global capability plans, career pathways, competency frameworks and professional development programmes for Information Management professionals.
- Coach, mentor and support regional and market Information Management leaders.
- Ensure effective training provision and knowledge sharing across the Information Management community.
- Support professional accreditation and advancement within recognised industry bodies.
- Establish and operate an Information Management assurance regime across projects and programmes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, client requirements, security obligations, data governance standards and organisational procedures.
- Oversee quality assurance and continuous improvement activities relating to common data environments, information workflows, document control and digital deliverables.
- Provide strategic guidance on information governance, data management and digital information requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage interventions where Information Management performance requires improvement.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies and best practice relating to Information Management, Digital Delivery and Data Management.
- Drive innovation through the adoption of new tools, technologies and delivery methodologies.
- Work closely with the Digital Centre of Excellence to align Information Management with broader digital transformation initiatives.
- Promote data-driven decision making through integration with reporting, project controls and digital solutions.
- Support markets and regional hubs in developing and winning opportunities requiring Information Management expertise.
- Manage the development of Information Management content, solutions and strategies within bids and pursuits.
- Identify emerging client needs, market trends and growth opportunities to enhance our Information Management service offering.
- Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, technology providers and industry bodies.
- Represent us externally through industry forums, conferences, thought leadership and professional institutions.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across Consult, regional hubs and market sectors.
- Engage with executive leadership teams, boards and senior client stakeholders on strategic Information Management matters.
- Act as the senior escalation point for Information Management challenges across our business.
- Promote integration between Information Management, PMO, Planning, Cost, Risk, Controls, Digital Delivery and wider project management functions.
