Senior AI Architect

Salary: £24,000 - 59,000 per year

Requirements:

• We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect/Consultant with deep understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, machine learning, and modern interoperability standards such as MCP.
• We expect proven experience architecting and implementing innovative, enterprise-scale solutions.
• We require in-depth knowledge of modern Generative AI techniques and foundation models, including transformer-based LLMs, diffusion models, multimodal models, GANs, and VAEs.
• We look for hands-on experience with advanced prompt engineering, structured outputs, function/tool calling, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel.
• We require exposure to both API-based and open-source LLM solution design.
• We seek deep expertise in designing autonomous and multi-agent systems, including agentic design patterns and agent frameworks.
• We require strong working knowledge of the Model Context Protocol and related interoperability standards.
• We look for experience extending agent capabilities through modular, reusable skills, custom tools, connectors, and standards.
• We require expertise in RAG and knowledge-grounded systems, including chunking, embeddings, vector databases, hybrid search, reranking, and retrieval evaluation.
• We expect experience operationalizing LLM and agentic systems at scale, including evaluation, observability, guardrails, red-teaming, and continuous optimization.
• We require a strong understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, frameworks, model design, and training pipelines.
• We seek proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools, along with modern LLM and agent frameworks.
• We value experience with cloud AI platforms, vector databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed computing.
• We require the ability to design end-to-end Generative and Agentic AI architectures.
• We value familiarity with the relevant industry domain, data engineering practices, and AI governance, security, and responsible AI considerations.
• We require excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and customers.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the development of the Generative and Agentic AI technology roadmap.
• We identify opportunities, evaluate use cases, and propose innovative agent-driven solutions aligned to business goals.
• We evaluate and select appropriate models, agent frameworks, RAG strategies, and integration standards including MCP.
• We design comprehensive and scalable architectures for Generative AI solutions.
• We define reusable architecture patterns and platform standards for agentic AI, including orchestration, MCP-based integration, memory, state management, guardrails, human oversight, and observability.
• We collaborate with data scientists and engineers to implement Generative AI solutions and integrate models into production environments.
• We continuously optimize model performance across speed, accuracy, and resource utilization.
• We assess solution outcomes against success criteria and iterate based on metrics and feedback.
• We work closely with customer architecture and business teams to define requirements, technical boundaries, and SLAs.
• We collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, and foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
• We stay updated on the fast-evolving Generative and Agentic AI landscape and incorporate emerging trends into solution and platform architecture.
