Software Engineer Java API Kafka AWS

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Java server-side development experience
• Good knowledge of messaging, including Kafka experience
• AWS experience
• Good knowledge of SQL, ideally PostgreSQL
• Experience with Kotlin, or keen to learn
• Collaborative and keen to work in a start-up environment
• Keen technologist who stays up to date with new and emerging technologies
• Likely to be degree educated, preferably in Computer Science

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in defining, building, iterating and testing core products
• Build new features on the payment platform, gateway API and web portal
• Focus on backend development
• Choose the right tool for the job and introduce emerging technologies

This is a hybrid role based in our London, City office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two.
