Senior Consultant/Manager AI/ML Engineer

Salary: £59,000 - 99,000 per year

Requirements:

• 1-5 years in technology consulting, software engineering, or AI/ML
• SME-level depth in at least one of: Agentic AI/LLM Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or Software Engineering
• Strong architecture and design capability across cloud, data, and AI domains
• Clear, confident communicator able to make complex ideas accessible to technical and non-technical audiences
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent depth through relevant professional certifications
• Prior experience as a forward-deployed or embedded engineer within a client environment
• Exposure to regulated industries such as energy, financial services, or public sector

Responsibilities:

• Own and lead consultancy engagements end-to-end, from shaping the opportunity and winning the work through to delivery governance and team leadership
• Lead the delivery of AI-enabled solutions embedded in our clients teams
• Apply SME-level depth in at least one of AI/ML Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering to create lasting client value
• Design and build production-grade agentic systems using major LLM SDKs and agent frameworks, including RAG, MCP servers, and prompt engineering at scale
• Provide secure, resilient enterprise deployment guidance for LLM-powered systems
• Deliver end-to-end machine learning lifecycle work, including feature engineering, model training, evaluation, production deployment, MLOps, monitoring, and drift detection
• Build production-grade Python services and front-end solutions, and contribute to cloud architecture, database trade-offs, CI/CD, testing, release management, and security-conscious development
• Act as both an advisor and a hands-on technical leader for clients and internal teams
