Requirements:
  • We are looking for a highly experienced Integration Developer with hands-on experience completing numerous projects using an iPaaS solution.
  • We need someone who has integrated multiple applications and technologies and brought new services live.
  • Experience working in a cross-team development and third-level support environment is important.
  • You should have built, maintained, and grown technical and business relationships with IT teams and wider business departments.
  • We expect a strong understanding of iPaaS technology in an enterprise-level development context, including maintenance and support of underlying infrastructure and application of technical standards supporting service bus architecture.
  • You should be a self-starter with excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • You need confidence to identify, analyse, and solve problems in a logical, lateral, and effective way.
  • You must be comfortable interpreting high-level business requirements and driving high-quality solutions from them.
  • You should be able to discuss directly with multiple stakeholders and understand business context and the value of all involved parties.
  • You need to absorb information quickly, seek deeper understanding of new and existing technologies, and be determined and adaptable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are required.
  • We are particularly interested in applicants with a background in building iPaaS solutions on platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, or Workato.

Responsibilities:
  • We design, develop, grow, and provide technical support for services supported by the Boomi Integration platform.
  • We work as part of a busy third-level application development and support team involved in Digital Service Integration, SAP Integration, CRM Integration, Social Care System Integration, Data Science/AI, Low Code, and other information development projects.
  • We design, build, and implement new technologies to help us realise efficiencies and deliver high-quality services to citizens of Hampshire.
  • We create knowledge-sharing documentation.
  • We present concepts and designs at senior IT management forums to describe and seek agreement for new designs and implementation of new technologies.
  • We may act as a sole technical-lead consultant to Project Management colleagues to help ensure accurate and timely completion of project artefacts.
  • We consult on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • We create Application Knowledgebase entries and technical wikis.
  • We advise on technical details to support completion of service triage documentation.
  • We contribute to resource and recruitment processes.
  • We support some HR processes and other non-technical tasks to help overall team effectiveness.
  • We create and develop new processes.
  • We carry out deep technical troubleshooting to investigate and resolve complex issues.
  • We analyse and design process enhancements.
  • We support improvement and maintenance initiatives.
  • We work closely with wider IT departments, drawing on collective technical expertise and industry knowledge.
  • We identify and interpret information from reliable third-party sources where necessary.
