Embedded Security Intelligence Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £67,000 - 107,000 per year
Requirements:- We require a bachelors degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, or a related discipline.
- We require 3–4 years of experience, or demonstrated skills commensurate with that experience, in an analysis function.
- We require experience in collection and analytical methodologies.
- We require a keen understanding of social media monitoring techniques.
- We require proficiency in the client workspace product suite, including the ability to present information in graphic format and concise reports.
- We require excellent research, analytical, writing, and verbal presentation skills.
- We require the ability to quickly adapt to the external environment and organization.
- We require the ability to be a positive and effective team member.
- We require the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize.
- We collect, curate, and disseminate current and forecasted risk intelligence in a timely manner to partners and stakeholders.
- We provide strategic foresight and analysis on security and operational concerns that may pose a safety risk to the client, its employees, or the community.
- We own day-to-day monitoring and first-line analysis for defined markets, themes, and events.
- We author routine regional products in our portfolio.
- We maintain a detailed, current understanding of security and political conditions in assigned markets and translate them into operationally relevant products.
- We flag developments in our markets that may have wider regional implications and escalate them to a Senior Analyst or RSIM.
- We conduct research and complete defined projects with some oversight and guidance.
- We support large team projects by completing individual tasks, helping with scope, assignments, and editing when asked.
- We may lead unique or ad hoc individual projects, and at times larger projects, as development opportunities.
- We support regional-specific products, global thematic reports, and high-profile research projects.
- We produce first drafts of routine products and make minor edits and structural reformatting as needed.
- We contribute as core analysts in crisis and incident streams, providing situation updates and basic implications.
- We complete tasks on time as defined by RSIM and provide peer-level support so others may complete tasks on time.
- We use existing procedures to solve standard problems, make suggestions for process improvement, and collaborate on solutions for more complex challenges.

In this role, we help collect, curate, and disseminate current and forecasted risk intelligence in a timely manner to partners and stakeholders.
