Global Data Center Infrastructure Technical Expert

Salary: £200,000 - 250,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or HVAC.
• Familiar with global data center industry standards and capable of reviewing data center drawings.
• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, including generator, chiller, cooling tower, AHU, UPS, and power distribution systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to clarity and detail.
• Ability to lead commissioning teams to conduct Level 1 to Level 5 commissioning tests, verify design intent, and resolve technical issues during execution.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in design reviews of electromechanical and related disciplines for new data centers.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and operational stability of existing data center design solutions.
• Support technical management of procurement for global data center projects and evaluate technical proposals.
• Participate in engineering commissioning and testing discussions and define test plans to verify each design indicator.
• Support the data center facility operations and maintenance team and help develop response plans for design limitations and potential risks.
• Conduct on-site inspections to identify operational risks in computer rooms and help ensure the continuous, safe, and stable operation of data centers.
• Provide on-site emergency technical support during incidents and complete technical reviews in post-incident reviews.
