Senior Software Engineer, Unified Platform

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong senior engineering experience
• Cryptoassets, digital-asset operations, or custody / wallet platforms, or closely adjacent high-stakes money-movement systems
• DeFi, smart contracts, staking, or other on-chain systems
• Full-stack development with Python (FastAPI)
• Strong relational data modeling fundamentals
• GitOps and Kubernetes
• Job orchestration systems such as Airflow or Prefect
• Deep Python expertise is a meaningful differentiator for this role

Responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and testing full-stack applications, from APIs through UI, used by digital asset operations and related business partners
• Partnering with those teams to turn ambiguous business problems into clear technical plans and shipped software
• Owning software end-to-end after it ships, including deploy, operate, and on-call responsibilities
• Working across greenfield systems and existing codebases
• Building and improving tooling and processes around CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes / internal cloud
• Collaborating with other software teams, trading desks, and business units
• Mentoring and raising the bar for engineering practice on a small team
• Learning and championing useful new technologies where they fit
