Lead Ruby Engineer

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Ruby and Rails with 7+ years of experience.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in writing tested code, including unit and acceptance tests.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Highly motivated to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Scale systems to handle increasing data streams.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers on next-generation research and data analysis tools.
• Use Ruby and JavaScript daily.
• Integrate with data pipelines for Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ML training loops, and data operations workflows.
• Help shape a cutting-edge research product that enables brands to gather market insights quickly.
• Contribute to a product that is growing in user numbers month over month.
• Work directly with clients and users to see the impact of our work.
