Junior Product Designer (UX/UI)

Salary: £45,500 - 73,500 per year

Requirements:

• We have 2–5 years of experience designing digital products, ideally SaaS.
• We have formal education in Product Design, UX, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• We have strong Figma skills and exposure to design systems.
• We are comfortable working closely with engineers and a Senior Product Designer.
• We are passionate about simplifying complex products.
• We have a portfolio that shows our design process, not just final screens.
• We bring fresh product thinking from modern SaaS, rather than experience centred on legacy logistics, freight forwarding, or ERP software.
• We have a strong formal design education foundation in human-centred design, interaction design, typography, information architecture, research methods, and design systems.

Responsibilities:

• We expand and maintain the Borderless360 Design System.
• We design new platform features and workflows.
• We improve customer onboarding and usability.
• We create consistency across product, marketing, documentation, and customer communications.
• We challenge traditional logistics UX patterns with modern SaaS thinking.
• We work alongside our Senior Product Designer to create a single, cohesive product experience across the Borderless360 platform, marketing website, help centre, documentation, and customer communications.

We are Borderless360, building a premium global commerce platform inspired by Linear, Stripe, Vercel, and Framer. We believe logistics software does not have to look or feel like traditional logistics software. This is an early-career Product Designer role offered on an independent contractor basis, with a salary range of £50,000–£60,000 per year depending on experience. The role is designed to pair with our Senior Product Designer and help elevate the quality and consistency of everything we build across the product and wider customer experience.
