Salesforce Senior Dev/Tech Lead

Salary: £45,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require strong Salesforce platform experience, including hands-on development and technical lead or lead developer experience.
• We require experience delivering at least 2 large-scale Sales Cloud implementations, 2 large-scale Service Cloud implementations, and 1 Experience Cloud implementation.
• We require strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce configuration.
• We require experience designing integrations with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, middleware, Named Credentials, Connected Apps, and OAuth authentication.
• We require experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• We require experience operating in highly regulated environments such as government, public sector, financial services, or healthcare.
• We require excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• We require client-facing consulting experience and the ability to lead distributed teams.
• We require a proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• We require experience working in complex multi-vendor environments.
• We prefer experience with HMRC or UK Government projects, MuleSoft or Azure Integration Services, Salesforce DevOps implementations, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and offshore/onshore delivery teams.
• We prefer Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, AI Associate/Specialist, and Copado Fundamentals.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the design, development, integration, and implementation of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• We provide technical leadership and mentoring to Salesforce developers and development teams.
• We design and develop scalable applications using Salesforce best practices.
• We build and support citizen-facing and partner-facing Experience Cloud portals.
• We ensure our solutions comply with HMRC security, data protection, accessibility, and governance requirements.
• We design and implement integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• We drive DevOps, CI/CD, code quality, and release management practices.
• We support architectural decisions and contribute to solution design workshops.
• We develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura components, Visualforce, and Flow automation.
• We translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• We configure and customize Service Cloud features such as Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge Base, Entitlements, Service Console, and Escalation Processes.
• We develop Sales Cloud solutions supporting Lead Management, Opportunity Management, Account and Contact Management, Forecasting, Reporting, and Dashboards.
• We manage deployment activities across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• We maintain technical documentation, design documents, and deployment records.
• We lead code reviews, enforce development standards, and collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Scrum Teams.
