Service Design Architect

Salary: £35,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the UK IT Managed Services market, including Modern Workplace, End User Service Desk, Managed Networks, Unified Communications, Infrastructure/Cloud, and Managed Security
• Proven track record of developing complex managed service solutions and winning contracts valued from £100k to over £10m
• ITIL certification and a solid understanding of service delivery frameworks and best practices
• Strong commercial and bid skills, including governance and costing models
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills, with confidence communicating at CxO level
• Experience leading virtual teams and fostering collaboration across technical and sales functions

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of our pre-sales function to help shape service solutions that meet customer needs and deliver value
• Collaborate with clients to design tailored solutions aligned to their requirements
• Attend customer meetings, present proposals, and build relationships with C-level executives and technical stakeholders
• Act as the go-to expert on solution completeness, feasibility, and governance
• Prepare compelling proposals and support bid review processes with clarity and transparency
• Identify and manage risks and assumptions throughout the solution lifecycle
• Work closely with teams across sales, presales, operations, and project management to ensure smooth transitions and successful service delivery
• Stay ahead of market trends and industry best practices to keep our solutions competitive and innovative
• Align service designs with business goals to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction
