Sub-Ledger Business Analyst

Requirements:

• We are looking for a Business Analyst with implementation experience in a finance sub-ledger program within a financial institution, ideally across two different programs.
• We need someone with a strong understanding of financial services products and their accounting rules.
• We need experience with regulatory requirements relating to finance data in financial services.
• We are looking for experience running requirements gathering workshops and documenting requirements to the definition of ready expected by the IT team.
• We need experience coordinating with different IT teams.
• We need deep knowledge of finance daily, monthly, and year-end processes.
• We need a strong understanding of finance data.
• We are looking for experience in data analysis, including big data and SQL-type querying.
• We need experience supporting end-to-end testing of a finance product sub-ledger.
• We need experience mapping requirements to proposed solutions to ensure the solution is complete.
• We need strong communication skills and the ability to articulate requirements clearly to CFO stakeholders.
• UK Security Vetting eligibility may be required, with sponsorship provided where applicable.
• Candidates should meet relevant residency requirements, and any reserved post nationality restrictions will be confirmed by the client if applicable.

This is a Sub-Ledger Business Analyst role within Finance & Audit IT. The position is onsite in the City of London four days a week and is initially offered on a two-month contract, with the possibility of an additional six months if the start date is 1st September.
