Lead Integration Developer
Job Description
Salary: £25,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong understanding of integration architecture principles and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience designing API-led, service-oriented integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and associated integration services.
- Understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality principles.
- Experience implementing integration solutions using authentication, authorisation, and encryption techniques.
- Familiarity with agile delivery.
- Experience with integration platform as a service (iPaaS), such as Workato or similar.
- Experience with API design, development, and management.
- Knowledge of REST, JSON, SOAP, and related integration standards.
- Experience with SQL and database design, development, and administration.
- Experience with ETL and ETL pipeline development.
- Experience with Python and C# development.
- Understanding of security, authentication, and authorisation mechanisms for system integrations.
- Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimising integration platform performance.

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions.
- Define integration architecture, standards, and governance practices.
- Ensure integration solutions are resilient, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure integration solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
- Develop integration roadmaps that support future business growth.
- Integrate business-critical systems using APIs, REST services, ETL processes, event-driven architectures, and middleware technologies.
- Work with application owners and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange across platforms.
- Establish and maintain integration governance, documentation, and development standards.
- Define approaches for data mapping, transformation, monitoring, error handling, and exception management.
- Monitor and optimise integration performance, throughput, and scalability.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks across integration processes and data flows.
- Evaluate integration technologies and third-party solutions.
- Manage relationships with integration vendors and platform providers where required.
