Senior Product Owner

Salary: £80,000 - 96,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably financial services or lending.
• We need a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale products or initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• We are looking for strong decision-making and prioritisation skills, including the ability to work through ambiguity and make informed trade-offs.
• We need exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and clients.
• We require extensive experience leading product backlogs, discovery activities, and requirements management in Agile environments.
• We expect experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• We value experience with complex SaaS, multi-tenant, or highly configurable products.
• We are looking for a proactive, self-driven person who can work with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and ownership.
• We prefer candidates with experience in the lending industry and greenfield product delivery.

We are partnering with a fintech scaleup based in Cardiff city centre and are scaling our Product team with a Senior Product Owner. This is the sixth member of the product team, and the role is hybrid with three days per week in the Cardiff office. We offer a salary of up to £80,000, a bonus of up to 20%, and a package of up to £96,600.
