Data Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £80,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- Experience with Databricks, SQL, Python and PySpark
- Experience building and optimising ELT and data pipelines
- Experience with data modelling, lakehouse architecture and modern data platforms
- Experience with Azure data services
- Experience with API and third-party system integration
- Experience with data quality, governance, metadata and lineage
- Experience with Git, CI/CD and engineering best practices
- Shape how data is structured, governed and consumed across the business
- Design scalable data models
- Build robust ELT pipelines in Databricks using SQL, Python and PySpark
- Integrate data from multiple internal and third-party systems
- Collaborate closely with Analytics Engineers to ensure data is reliable, well-governed and ready for business intelligence, automation and AI-powered solutions
- Challenge existing approaches and improve platform architecture
