IT Asset Manager - Physical IT Assets Banking

Salary: £50,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in IT asset management or IT operations, ideally within a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, CMDBs, and asset management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Experience in a large regulated financial services environment, preferably banking, or insurance.
• Proven experience building frameworks in a greenfield environment rather than only working in BAU.
• Detail-oriented and compliance-driven approach.
• Knowledge of hardware asset management, procurement, lifecycle management, and process governance.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the lifecycle process for physical IT assets.
• Lead the transformation of our hardware asset management function across EMEA.
• Build out IT asset management frameworks in a greenfield environment.
• Ensure full lifecycle governance, audit readiness, and cost optimisation.
• Align asset management practices with global standards and regulatory frameworks such as DORA.
• Help shape the future of asset management across our EMEA operations.
• Strengthen our technology governance and resilience through a Centre of Excellence for IT Asset Management.
