Automation Test Lead

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong background in software test automation
• Commercial experience with Selenium or Playwright
• Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience, or readiness to step into a Lead role
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Consultancy or client-facing software delivery experience would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of QA Engineers
• Own and evolve our automation testing strategy
• Design and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owners and stakeholders to embed quality throughout the SDLC
• Drive automation maturity, CI/CD integration and continuous improvement

This is a hands-on Automation Test Lead role based in Central Leeds with hybrid working, requiring three days onsite each week.
