Project QA Lead

Requirements:

• Senior QA / Test Lead experience in AWS or cloud environments
• Experience with Java and React applications
• Strong automation and CI/CD knowledge
• Comfortable influencing and pushing back at senior stakeholder level
• BPSS clearance required
• Must be ready to deliver quickly, with onboarding expected to take up to 4 weeks max

We are recruiting for a Senior QA Lead contract role on a 6-month assignment, working inside IR35 for a cloud-native modernisation programme based in Telford with two days onsite each month. We offer a high-impact opportunity to shape quality across a fast-moving AWS environment, working with technologies including Kubernetes, Java/Spring Boot, React, GitLab CI/CD, Playwright, OWASP, and Gatling. This is a hands-on leadership position where we need someone who can set QA direction, embed automation, and confidently influence stakeholders and delivery teams.
