IT Asset Manager

Salary: £50,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in IT asset management or IT operations, ideally within a regulated industry
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, CMDBs, and asset management tools such as ServiceNow
• Experience in a large regulated financial services environment, preferably banking or insurance
• Proven experience building frameworks rather than only supporting BAU operations
• Experience working in a greenfield environment

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the lifecycle process for physical IT assets
• Lead the transformation of our hardware asset management function across EMEA
• Ensure full lifecycle governance, audit readiness, and cost optimisation
• Build out IT asset management frameworks in a greenfield environment
• Support the development of a Centre of Excellence for IT Asset Management aligned with global standards and regulatory frameworks such as DORA
• Strengthen technology governance and resilience across our operations

We are a bank offering a permanent IT Asset Manager opportunity in London city with a 50/50 hybrid working arrangement. This is an exclusive and exciting opportunity to join us as we build a Centre of Excellence for IT Asset Management and shape the future of asset management across our EMEA operations. We are working in a greenfield environment, giving you the chance to create frameworks and improve governance rather than simply supporting BAU. The salary for this role is £60,000-£80,000, and the interview process consists of two face-to-face stages with our business team.
