2nd Line Engineer

Salary: £32,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a 2nd Line IT Support role
• MSP experience is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• A proactive attitude with a passion for technology and continuous learning

Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd line support across desktop, server, and cloud environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory
• Diagnose networking issues including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and firewalls
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and IT projects
• Support backup solutions and business continuity systems
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage tickets within agreed SLAs
• Deliver outstanding customer service to a diverse client base
