Software Tester

Salary: £30,000 - 42,000 per year

Requirements:

• Around 3+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong experience testing web applications and APIs
• Understanding of how testing fits into the wider product and engineering picture
• Problem-solving mindset rather than simply executing test cases
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Experience with automation is a plus and we are open to helping you develop further in this area

Responsibilities:

• Carry out hands-on manual testing across web, mobile, desktop, and APIs
• Design effective test scenarios rather than simply following scripts
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to improve quality
• Challenge existing ways of working and help raise standards across the team
• Contribute to testing modern eCommerce and logistics systems at scale
• Support broader quality engineering improvements and bring a thoughtful approach to testing

We are hiring a Software Tester (Manual) to join our hybrid team in Nottingham. This is a 35-hour week role working on a modern eCommerce and logistics platform used at serious scale, with exposure across web apps, APIs, and backend systems. We offer a competitive package of up to £42k, a 10% bonus, and a 10% employer pension contribution, with a realistic overall package of around £50k.
