Software Engineer Python Rust R&D

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• We want strong Python backend software engineering experience.
• We want advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• We want people who enjoy learning and picking up new technologies.
• We want experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We value some experience with Rust, TypeScript, and/or C++.
• We want a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• We are looking for someone who is degree educated in a STEM discipline.

Responsibilities:

• We want you to work as a Software Engineer within our R&D team on a new greenfield product to combat AI-based security attacks.
• We want you to work on a range of complex and interesting projects, from rapid prototyping of new ideas to the structured development of existing platforms.
• We want you to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• We want you to work mainly with backend Python, with exposure to Rust and emerging technologies.
• We want you to use the right tool for the job in a rapid development environment with plenty of problem solving and iteration.
