Senior Network Engineer

Salary: £104,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with strong hands-on networking expertise.
• We require experience with routing, switching, security, and infrastructure support.
• We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience delivering technical projects from planning through to completion.
• We need someone who can balance BAU operational support with ongoing project work.
• We are looking for solid project coordination and planning experience.
• Contract experience is preferred for this 6-month assignment.
• This role is based in London and operates on a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

• We maintain and support enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• We lead and coordinate remediation and upgrade projects across the network environment.
• We work alongside the Network Team Lead to support resource planning, prioritisation, and workload management.
• We balance day-to-day operational support with delivery of network projects.
• We assist in planning and completing technical initiatives across the network estate.

We are recruiting for an initial 6-month contract opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join a growing technical team in London on a hybrid basis. This is an inside IR35 contract offering a day rate of £400 to £500. We are looking for someone who combines strong networking expertise with the ability to coordinate technical projects and support team planning. This role would suit a hands-on professional who enjoys working across both operational support and project delivery in a collaborative environment.
