Senior Data Consultant

Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for proven experience designing and delivering data management, data governance, or Master Data Management (MDM) solutions within consulting or industry.
• We need experience delivering initiatives such as data catalogues, metadata management, data lineage, data quality, master data consolidation, or governance frameworks.
• We require hands-on experience with at least one leading data governance or data management platform, such as Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Ataccama, or Microsoft Purview.
• We are looking for experience defining and embedding data stewardship models, governance processes, and operating frameworks.
• We need strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
• We value a collaborative mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a genuine interest in AI, emerging technologies, and data-driven transformation.
• Desirable: experience with AI governance, Responsible AI, AI data preparation, model lifecycle management, bias detection, explainability, or the DAMA DMBOK framework.

Responsibilities:

• We advise clients on data management, governance, and AI strategies, helping shape vision, roadmaps, and business cases that maximise the value of data.
• We design and implement data management operating models, including governance frameworks, stewardship, policies, standards, and processes.
• We lead or contribute to data governance, data quality, metadata management, master data management (MDM), data lineage, and catalogue initiatives.
• We translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes, influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisational change.
• We work closely with architects, engineers, developers, and data scientists to embed governance, quality, and compliance into modern data platforms and AI solutions.
• We support the delivery of trusted, ethical, and compliant AI through strong data foundations and governance practices.
• At Senior Consultant level, we lead workstreams, mentor colleagues, contribute to thought leadership, and support business development activities including proposals, bids, and client presentations.
