Senior Data Analyst

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We want someone with a practical background in data and analytics who has demonstrated the ability to use data to generate actionable insight.
• We need strong SQL skills, including the ability to query large-scale datasets effectively.
• We are looking for experience building and working with databases and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Experience with cloud databases, Google Cloud Platform, Looker, and/or Google Analytics would be advantageous.
• We need excellent organisational, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• We want you to build, develop, and maintain complex data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
• We want you to directly manage, motivate, and engage a team of two data analysts.
• We want you to provide hands-on technical support, code and query reviews, and mentorship to support your teams professional development.
• We want you to champion actionable insights and focus the team on efficient development and delivery.
• We want you to lead cross-functional projects using advanced data analysis techniques to uncover insights and optimisation opportunities.
• We want you to oversee the teams data request process, including tracking requests, assessing scope, prioritising work, and delegating tasks.

We are partnering exclusively with a high-profile e-commerce organisation to hire a Senior Data Analyst on a permanent basis. The role is based in Hereford with a hybrid working model of three days per week in the office. This is an actively hiring position with a salary of £55,000 to £60,000 plus excellent benefits. You will work hands-on with modern BI and analytics tools, act as a technical guide for the team, and help drive business growth through accurate reporting and actionable insights.
