Senior C++ Developer - Oxford

Salary: £75,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with modern C++ (C++17 or later)
• Experience with performance-critical or systems-level software
• Experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
• Linux development experience
• Experience debugging and optimising complex software
• Advantageous experience in any of the following: database engines, compilers, distributed systems, high-performance backend platforms, scientific or numerical computing, graphics, simulation or game engines, low-latency or real-time systems

Responsibilities:

• Work on our core software platform and solve complex engineering problems
• Develop modern C++ software
• Design and implement high-performance algorithms and data structures
• Build concurrent and multithreaded software
• Manage memory and optimise performance
• Develop cross-platform software across Linux, Windows and macOS
• Design and maintain robust, scalable software at the heart of our globally deployed product
• Improve performance and write clean, maintainable code
