Security Consultant

Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Security Architect or in a similar cyber security role
• Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles
• Experience producing security architecture and technical design documentation
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and communicating findings to technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working across complex IT, cloud or engineering environments
• CISSP, CISM or another recognised cyber security certification, or equivalent experience
• Experience working within Defence or National Security would be beneficial
• TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar architecture frameworks would be beneficial
• Consultancy experience would be beneficial
• Knowledge of secure systems engineering and assurance would be beneficial
• Current UK SC or Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Design secure solutions across the full system lifecycle
• Produce security architecture documentation and technical designs
• Conduct technical security and risk assessments
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements and translate them into secure solutions
• Lead technical workshops and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support engineering teams to embed Secure by Design principles throughout delivery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, resilient systems
