Scala Developer

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Scala
• Comfortable working with functional programming principles
• Experience building scalable, cloud-based services
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Public sector experience
• Ability to work under BPSS clearance (no higher clearance required)

• Contribute to secure, reliable, user-centric services
• Work in a collaborative Agile environment
• Help design, build, and enhance the service
• Participate in occasional onsite workshops or meetings once a month

We are recruiting for a remote-first Scala Developer role supporting one of the UKs most significant digital identity initiatives, used by millions nationwide. This is a 3-month rolling SOW contract with remote working, occasional onsite workshops or meetings once a month, and a rate of 530 a day inside IR35. The role is part of a collaborative team focused on delivering secure, reliable, user-centric services for our public sector client.
