RAN Deployment & Integration Engineer

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 5 years experience in LTE/5G RAN deployment and integration.
• We require hands-on experience with 4G LTE, 5G NR, Private 5G RAN, and mobile network deployments.
• We require experience with RAN vendors including Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Huawei, Open RAN platforms, or equivalent solutions.
• We require strong knowledge of RAN commissioning, cell configuration, radio integration, RAN troubleshooting, and performance validation.
• We require understanding of 5G architecture, network slicing, and Open RAN concepts.
• We require experience working with customers, vendors, and deployment partners.
• We require the ability to manage technical issues during deployment.
• We require strong reporting and documentation skills.
• We require the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities:

• We will install and integrate RAN equipment, including Baseband Units, Indoor Radio Units, Radio Dots, Remote Radio Units, and 5G Radio Units.
• We will perform radio commissioning and integration.
• We will configure cells, frequencies, radio parameters, and network features.
• We will perform radio software loading and upgrades.
• We will validate synchronisation, coverage, mobility, and connectivity.
• We will support ATP execution, acceptance testing, and customer handover.
• We will troubleshoot RAN alarms and hardware issues.
