Project Engineering Manager

Salary: £24,500 - 42,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive experience managing technical delivery in construction, utilities or engineering project environments
• Deep knowledge of engineering design principles, networking or infrastructure systems
• Proven leadership experience overseeing engineering or multidisciplinary teams
• Strong capability in risk management, governance, quality assurance and safety compliance
• Success in delivering complex technical projects on time, within budget and to required standards
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills
• Experience in Critical National Infrastructure, design assurance, regulatory engagement or technical governance is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Lead the safe, compliant and efficient technical delivery of complex Critical National Infrastructure projects
• Ensure all technical solutions align with design intent, statutory and industry standards, and client governance
• Provide clear technical direction and resolve complex engineering challenges
• Ensure robust documentation, assurance evidence and change control across the project lifecycle
• Champion a proactive safety, quality and compliance culture
• Embed right-first-time engineering, continuous improvement and consistent standards
• Engage with clients, partners and regulators to ensure transparency and confidence in delivery
