Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require 10+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • We require a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • We require experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
  • We require experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders, and experience with training, workshops, and publications.
  • We prefer knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent.
  • We prefer knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management or equivalent.
  • We prefer knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent.
  • We prefer strong presentation and whiteboarding skills, with comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers.
  • We prefer experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
Responsibilities:
  • We design and deliver generative AI solutions for energy customers across multiple industry domains.
  • We architect end-to-end AI pipelines integrating foundation models, speech, vision, and tool-use agents with energy platforms and infrastructure.
  • We build production-quality proof-of-concepts demonstrating agentic capabilities and AI developer and productivity tooling.
  • We lead technical engagements with energy engineering teams on analytics and AI architectures.
  • We provide strategic guidance on deploying AI agents into energy environments, addressing latency, reliability, compliance, and scale requirements.
  • We develop reference architectures and reusable blueprints that accelerate GenAI adoption, combining Bedrock, AgentCore, Kiro, Claude Code, Codex, and partner ecosystem components.
  • We influence our AI service roadmaps by capturing customer requirements and collaborating with service teams.
  • We author whitepapers, blog posts, and reference implementations establishing our point of view on GenAI for telecommunications.
  • We drive customer growth through GenAI-focused sales strategies in partnership with our Sales teams.
  • We build trusted advisor relationships with senior technical leaders such as VP Engineering, CTO, and Chief AI Officer at energy customers.
  • We partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, and AI/ML service teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on customer engagements.
  • We develop and support an internal community of Data and AI subject matter experts worldwide.
  • We create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate our AI solutions into customer architectures.
  • We help customers build and deploy GenAI-enabled applications using Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore.
  • We engage with product owners to influence product direction and help customers tap into new markets by utilizing GenAI along with AWS services.
  • We prototype, architect, and deliver production-grade AI solutions spanning agentic platforms, developer tools, governance, and cybersecurity.
  • We bridge frontier AI capabilities and real-world energy environments, from operational productivity to developer platforms and real-time trading and utility operations centers.
  • We work backwards from customer outcomes to define reference architectures that combine AWS AI services with partner and open-source components in regulated industry deployments.
  • We write code, construct proof-of-concept implementations, contribute to open-source projects, and develop reusable blueprints that accelerate GenAI adoption across the energy vertical.
  • We publish our work through whitepapers, blog posts, reference architectures, and conference presentations.
