Power Platform Software Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform
• Deep expertise in Model Driven Apps, Power Platform Code Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and customisation of Power Platform apps through plugins, PCFs, and custom connectors
• Hands-on experience with Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, .NET Container Apps, and Copilot Studio
• Experience working with React, C#, and APIs
• Good knowledge of general database concepts, SQL Server, and Power BI
• Experience building AI agents

Responsibilities:

• We will be the primary technical point of contact for the applications in scope of this role
• We will represent our Software Engineering CoE in architecture, design, governance, security, and similar forums
• We will collaborate with teams on environment setup, configuration planning, best practices, and DLP policies
• We will act as a bridge between us and third-party teams to assess environment compatibility, highlight risks, and propose mitigations
• We will ensure the applications are built in adherence to our standards and established industry software development standards
• We will document technical learnings, configurations, and application knowledge to support knowledge retention, reduce person dependency, and enable future transition
• We will build proofs of concept and work across architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of software applications
• We will collaborate with other teams and vendors and contribute to technical discussions on requirements analysis, solution design, and implementation approach
• We will work on porting, deployment, verification, and debugging for applications
• We will assist in defining platform team structure, capacity, skills, and hiring requirements, and support recruitment
• We will develop a comprehensive handover plan covering technical and functional aspects, components, environment strategy, development process, and go-live approach

We are hiring for an MS Power Platform Principal Software Engineer in London on a hybrid basis, with four days in the office. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering up to £80,000 per annum. The role sits within our Software Engineering CoE and involves working closely with internal teams and third-party partners across architecture, delivery, governance, and platform planning.
