Linux Specialist

Requirements:

• Active DV clearance
• Sole British national only
• Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
• DevOps tooling including Jenkins, Git, GitLab or Azure DevOps
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible
• Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Bash and/or Python scripting
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Knowledge of networking, system hardening and security best practices

Responsibilities:

• Build, automate and maintain secure Linux-based environments
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers and associated services
• Deploy and manage containerised applications
• Work closely with infrastructure, software and security teams to deliver resilient platforms
• Monitor, maintain and optimise system performance and availability

We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile defence programme, supporting the delivery and operation of secure, mission-critical infrastructure. This is a hands-on role for an engineer with strong Linux administration skills and a solid DevOps background, working within highly secure environments. The role is on site in Hampshire, is offered on a 12 months+ basis, and is £600 to £700 a day outside IR35.
