IT Support Engineer - Skelmersdale

Salary: £33,475 - 33,475 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in IT support, ideally as an IT Support Engineer, IT Technician, 2nd Line Support or Service Desk professional
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and Windows Server environments
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Familiarity with Hyper-V and virtual environments
• Experience supporting SQL databases and business systems
• Knowledge of networking and ITSM platforms
• Ability to support telephony platforms
• Experience maintaining documentation and IT standards

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across the organisation
• Support Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Monitor infrastructure, backups and security
• Support Hyper-V and virtual environments
• Assist with SQL databases and business systems
• Administer telephony platforms
• Work on hardware refreshes and infrastructure projects
• Maintain documentation and IT standards
• Help drive continuous improvement across the IT function
