IT Operations Specialist

Salary: £46,000 - 66,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need strong experience supporting Windows server environments.
• We need exposure to virtualisation technologies such as VMware or similar.
• We need an understanding of cloud platforms and infrastructure concepts.
• We need awareness of cybersecurity principles and best practice.
• We need strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with Linux environments would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you support and maintain server and virtualised infrastructure environments.
• We will have you monitor system performance, identify issues, and help ensure high availability.
• We will have you assist with cloud platform operations, access management, and configuration.
• We will have you support incident resolution via the service desk, including user access and onboarding requests.
• We will have you contribute to backup, disaster recovery, and security-related processes.
• We will have you work closely with senior technical specialists and gain exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure.
