IT Manager
Job Description
Salary: £50,465 - 50,465 per year
Requirements:- Experience of leading and developing an IT function and managing a team
- Strong technical knowledge
- Sound budget management skills
- Ability to manage projects from idea through to implementation
- Confident, values-led communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and explain complex information clearly
- Ability to support others to perform well and influence positively at all levels
- Curiosity, strong organisation skills, a solutions-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
- Experience of working with healthcare systems, charity-sector applications or programme management would be an advantage
- A full, clean driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
- Ability to participate in an on-call rota
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete pre-employment checks, including a Disclosure and Barring Service check
- Lead and develop our IT function
- Oversee the effective day-to-day operation, reliability, performance and security of our IT systems and services
- Work closely with senior leaders and colleagues across our hospice to shape our IT and data ambitions
- Develop practical business plans and ensure our systems support high-quality care and effective decision-making
- Manage IT service delivery, third-party supplier relationships, budgets, technical support arrangements, cyber security, business continuity and system improvement projects
- Provide supportive and effective people management for our IT team
- Set clear expectations, develop colleagues, encourage collaboration and lead in a way that reflects our hospice values
