IT Data & Platform Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in Data Engineering.
• We need hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar cloud platforms.
• We need strong Python and PySpark skills.
• We need experience integrating with APIs.
• We need a background in Agile development.

Responsibilities:

• We will design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• We will build and optimise data pipelines, lakehouses, and data warehouses.
• We will use PySpark, Python, T-SQL, and DAX to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions for business intelligence and analytics.
• We will work closely with stakeholders across the business.
• We will develop robust, secure, and well-documented data platforms.
• We will embrace a code-first approach, Infrastructure as Code, Git version control, and Azure DevOps.
• We will monitor platform performance.
• We will ensure data quality and compliance.
• We will continually seek opportunities to enhance business operations through innovative data engineering solutions.
