Integration Engineer

Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive experience delivering integrations in a complex enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with iPaaS solutions such as Boomi and/or Azure Integration Services
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous and event-driven integration patterns, and data movement at scale across distributed platforms

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere and Azure Integration Services, including Azure API Management
• Build and support integrations across clinical, finance, CRM, and patient systems, including R4, Dentally, IFS, Salesforce, and internal CRM solutions
• Implement and maintain SOAP- and REST-based APIs for secure, reliable data exchange between applications
• Develop and support file-based integrations using FTP and MFT, ensuring secure data transfer and operational reliability
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, Product Teams, and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements
• Use AI-assisted coding tools, such as Claude Code or similar, to accelerate delivery through boilerplate generation, test case creation, and exploration of unfamiliar APIs
• Stay current with Boomi, Azure, and integration best practices, and continuously improve how integrations are designed, built, and maintained
