Infrastructure Automation Architect

Salary: £75,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation in global enterprises at an architect level
• Experience implementing large-scale automation projects for core data centre technologies
• Solid understanding and experience with core infrastructure technologies, especially networks, servers, operating systems, containers, and databases
• Solid understanding and experience with ITSM processes and tooling, especially ServiceNow
• Solid understanding and experience with reporting and compliance processes
• Understanding of cybersecurity, threat analysis, and vulnerability analysis
• A record of implementing or improving patch processes at an enterprise level is a strong advantage
• Advanced communication, consulting, and presentation skills
• Strong ability to manage and influence a diverse community of stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Define the future process landscape of the end-to-end patching process across the full portfolio of GTI technologies, including patch acquisition, certification, rollout, and reporting
• Define the functional and non-functional requirements for the patching process and specify processes capable of delivering these requirements
• Define the future tooling landscape across GTI to implement and automate patch acquisition, certification, rollout, and reporting
• Work across technologies including network and storage devices, operating systems including hypervisors, runtime environments such as containers, databases, and other middleware components, sourced as open-source software or commercial off-the-shelf products
• Align with other technology and business groups across the bank to support required process changes and plan the implementation of the tooling landscape
• Create material to communicate required changes effectively to stakeholders from technical experts to senior management
